Tips and Sips - Ladies Only - Series 1: Scoring Shots

Having fun, improving your game, learning to play and having a support group is the best way to learn. That’s why the academy created this progressive program, to promote an opportunity for women to learn and improve their game alongside other women.  

 

Our Tips and Sips Program is comprised of three different series, each sharpening a different aspect of your game.  Enjoy new friendships and a complimentary beer during each class.  Series 1 focuses on the Scoring Shots.  An effective short game is a sure way to lower your scores.  We will cover chipping; putting; shots from 20, 30, and 40 yards; bump and run, and pitch shots.   

 

This is a 4-week program consisting of one hour of instruction per week.

This program is for intermediate/advanced golfers, and consists of three different series, each focusing on a different aspect of the game. Each series consists of one hour of instruction each week for four consecutive weeks.  Series 1 focuses on the scoring shots:  chipping, pitching, putting, and short approach shots. Gaining proficiency in these areas is a sure way to lower your scores. 

Ladies Series 2: Tee and Fairway Shots

This program is for intermediate/advanced golfers, and consists of three different series, each focusing on a different aspect of the game. Each series consists of one hour of instruction each week for four consecutive weeks.  Series 2 focuses on tee and fairway shots, including mid- and long-approach shots, hybrids, and fairway woods.

Ladies Series 3: On-Course Instruction

Golf Fitness for Seniors

Have you lost distance over the years or find that you don't have the same stamina on the course as you once had?  If you want to gain back distance and up your fitness game on the course and off, Golf Fitness for Seniors is for you.  This is a results-oriented strength and conditioning program.  Using proprietary training equipment and techniques, each class offers high intensity circuit training to increase your stamina, improve your strength and increase your club head speed to gain distance.

Learn, Play, and Wine - Ladies Fundamentals 1

When building a golf swing or a golf game, it is important to be in a relaxed and comfortable learning atmosphere. Although private lessons provide one-on-one attention, they can be very stressful and overwhelming for many beginner and early intermediate golfers.  The pressure individuals feel to learn, improve, and perform well often keeps them from progressing.  Golfers learn more easily and perform far better when they are playing or learning with golfers of the same abilities.  Group programs ease the stress and allow golfers to pick up visual cues while watching others of the same abilities, which helps them to improve more quickly and enjoy the process.​  Our Ladies Fundamental Series is designed to help ladies who want to learn to golf, but who may feel unsure about where to start.

 

Our Learn, Play, and Wine - Ladies Fundamentals 1 is geared towards entry-level lady golfers or those who average higher than double bogie.  Fundamentals 1 will help you learn the basic fundamentals, build a golf swing, introduce you to short game, approach, and tee shots, and club selection. Make new friends and enjoy a glass of wine during each class.

This is a 5-week program, held on consecutive Mondays.  Next session begins April 20, 2020 from 6:00-7:30.  Fee is $279 per person. 

Learn, Play, and Wine - Ladies Fundamentals 2

We continue our Learn, Play, and Wine series with Ladies Fundamentals 2.   This program is perfect for golfers with experience who can shoot double bogie golf or better, and can play nine holes in two hours or less (advanced beginner/intermediate).  We will focus on learning golf shots, distance control, club selection, driver, and basic rules of play.  Make new friends and enjoy a glass of wine during each class, while sharpening your skills in a relaxed, fun environment.

Learn, Play, and Wine - Ladies Fundamentals 3

The final program in our Learn, Play, and Wine series is Ladies Fundamentals 3.  This program is ideal for intermediate golfers that have a solid concept of the golf game and can easily shoot under 50 routinely and are looking to understand course management, gain swing consistency, learn how to hit different clubs and shots in different situations, learn direction control, and understand advanced rules and strategies.  As with our other Learn, Play, and Wine programs, we offer a stress-free learning environment where you can improve your skills while making new friends and enjoying a glass a wine during each class.

Short Game Program

Our Short Game Programs focus on what we consider to be the most important part of the game: putting, chipping, pitching, and short approach shots from 60 yards and in, and are open to golfers of all abilities.  Each program has a maximum of six students so that you’ll get the personalized attention that you deserve.   Each student will be provided with practice drills to reinforce the concepts covered during the program.  Additionally, a summary including written and video information will be e-mailed to you at the conclusion of the program so that you have the ability to review the information during practice.  

Golf Fit

Golf Fit is a results-oriented strength and conditioning program.  Using proprietary training equipment and techniques, each class offers high intensity circuit training to increase your stamina, improve your strength and increase your club head speed.  

If you want to up your fitness game on the course and off, iIf you are a junior golfer that needs to increase your distance to be more competitive or jump ahead of your competition, or if you're losing distance due to age, Golf Fit is for you!  

 

We establish a baseline on each student and then train using proven methods to increase clubhead speed, strength, and conditioning.  ​ Golf Fit classes are offered in 8-week sessions and are open to golfers ages 14 to 90+

Our Golden Years Golf Program is a wonderful senior-oriented golf sports program designed for retirement communities and assisted living facilities. Golf is a sport which respects the needs for independence, while providing an opportunity to improve social skills and interact with others. This unique program helps seniors maintain an active lifestyle while promoting and enhancing wellness of body, stimulating the mind, and uplifting the spirit.  The program begins with basic fundamentals and mild stretching.  Each week the program progresses at a mild pace and offers exciting new experiences, including special activities, contests, trick shots, and guest appearances.
