FEAR NO SHOT

The Greg Jones Golf Academy is once again offering our Junior High Club Team Program, an intensive learn-and-play program for junior high golfers who are committed to improving their games and playing competitive golf in high school.  This program will prepare our club team players to make the high school team and, hopefully, help them to step right into a varsity spot as freshmen. We have had tremendous success with both female and male golfers playing varsity their freshman year. 

 

We are recruiting 6th, 7th, and 8th grade golfers, with some exceptions for younger golfers with high skill levels, from any school district who are interested in becoming part of a highly motivated and competitive team. All club team members will participate in matches, learning programs, and weekly practice rounds. Additionally, the golfers will be given practice programs to complete on their own each week. Club team members will play several home matches and will have the opportunity to earn spots on our travel team to play against other club teams and schools. Our home course and practice sessions will be held at Fox Meadow Country Club.

 

We consistently see a marked improvement in our players’ abilities, course management skills, and scores at the end of this program.  If your child is serious about golf, this highly competitive program is the pathway to helping them achieve their goals.

 

The Club Team program will start Monday, August 7, 2022 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.   Parents and players are asked to attend this session to receive the initial program information.  Practices and practice rounds are currently scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. beginning August 7 through October 4.   Weekly updates will be provided through the program on match times and locations.

PLEASE NOTE:  All golfers MUST have a release form signed by a parent or guardian on file prior to participation in the program.  The release form can be downloaded below.  Please print the form, fill it out and sign it.  You may scan the completed form and email it to gregthegolfguy@gmail.com, or bring the hard copy with you to the first meeting. 

 

 

Dates and Times:

Practices and practice rounds are currently scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays, from August 14th through October 4, 2023 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Weekly updates on match times and locations will be provided throughout the program. (Parents are encouraged to attend the first session to receive program information.)

Fees:

$439.00 (There may be one additional fee for a tournament.)

Payment is due via cash or check to Greg Jones at the initial meeting on August 14th.
