Driver, Fairway Metal and Hybrids

Junior Fundamentals 4 - Driver, Fairway Metal and Hybrids is recommended junior golfers with playing experience or who have, at a minimum, completed  Fundamentals 1, 2 and 3

In this program, we’ll concentrate on the driver, fairway metals, and hybrids and teach you the proper set-up, club selection, and how to make solid impact.  We will cover:

​

·       Proper basics and set-up, including weight and balance and key swing thoughts

·       Driver swing, including practice drills to improve the driver

·       Fairway metals set-up, how to achieve solid impact, and choosing the correct loft for the shot

·       Hybrids set-up, long approach swing

·       Good personal coaching and shot choices

​

 

Ages:  6 to 15 years old

​

Level:  Junior golfers with playing experience or who have, at a minimum, completed Fundamentals 1, 2, and 3

 

2023 Dates and Times:   ​

  • Session 1:  Thursdays, beginning July 20, 2023 through August 17, 2023 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. (No class on August 10)

  • Session 2:  Tuesdays, beginning August 29, 2023 through September 19, 2023, from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.

Location:  Fox Meadow Country Club

​

Fee: $150 Fox Meadow members; $175 non-members

Weather, Refund, and Class Make-up Policy:  

  • In the event of inclement weather, we realize that holding classes outside is not conducive to student comfort and learning. While we do our best to adhere to the posted class schedule, there may be times when we need to either cancel a class or move the class to our indoor facility.  We will notify you via text message of any changes to the class no later than 3 hours prior to the class start time.  

  • There are no make-ups for missed classes due to personal reasons.  

  • We do not offer refunds on programs.  A gift certificate will be issued for the cost of the registration fee, if a cancellation request is received prior to the start of the program.  We do not offer refunds or credit for missed classes once a program has begun.
